AN ACCOUNTING technology company created 12 jobs after it opened a support center in Bournemouth.
The opening of an office in Westbourne comes on top of an implied 162% increase in turnover this year for the company.
The cloud-based accounting company was formed in 2019 by the founders of Exchequer Software Ltd, including Poole CEO Rob Steele.
Exchequer Software was previously based at Wootton Gardens in Bournemouth.
Mr Steele said: âWe continue to respond to the challenges of Covid-19 with agility.
âThis is why we have not only invested heavily in customers – in terms of platform choice – but also in our employees so that they can have a better work-life balance in a difficult economic climate.
âOur Bournemouth-based customer service center will be a critical hub of activity where we can strengthen our relationships and prioritize the user experience, as well as further develop the skills of our talented team,â he added.
The Westbourne site will provide more flexibility for hybrid staff and allow for growth.
Iplicit’s software, which integrates with other cloud applications, is used daily by more than 350 organizations and 5,000 active users.
The company, with existing offices in London and Dublin, has customers in 52 countries and says it is on track to provide the service to over 2,000 organizations and over 30,000 active users here. 2025.
It aims to hire 40 to 50 other employees, of which 20 are expected to join within 18 months.
iplicit Says It Has Deployed Several Key Software Features This Year, Including Authorization Workflows To Provide Organizations With Control Of Transactions And Approvals; automated exchange rates with live exchange rate updates; dashboards on its mobile application to better understand key performance indicators; and easier visibility of inquiries, orders, goods received and invoices.
An inventory control function should be launched before the end of the year.
iplicit was named Accounting Software of the Year for Mid-Market and Enterprise last year by Accounting Excellence.
