As it happens, there were several updates from Mr. Passakorn Pannok, CEO of Bitkub Blockchain Technology and Mr. Samret Wajanasathian, CTO of Bitkub Blockchain Technology, which can be concluded as follows:
1. Launch of Bitkub Chain Layer-2 (BKC Ping)
Bitkub Chain Layer-2 or BKC Ping is the secondary framework or protocol which is built on top of Bitkub Chain (Layer-1) to maximize the efficiency of blockchain usage. For example, it can reduce traffic and transaction fees and inherits Layer 1 security with fraud proof. In the future, there will be the launch of 3 more frames which are Wang, Yom and Nan.
2. Launched KDEV Token for Developer
KDEV or KUB for Developer is the new digital token on Bitkub Chain Layer-2, specially designed for blockchain developers. The KDEV token is designed to run on the Bitkub Chain testnet and easily access the SDK. At this event, a privilege was granted to users who own “DEV KUB” NFT, who will receive a KDEV token to access the SDK for 1 year.
3. Launch of Bitkub Chain SDK
The Bitkub Chain SDK was designed to allow almost any developer to connect to Bitkub Chain. To clarify, this SDK has several benefits, including 1. To manage transaction submissions to the blockchain, 2. Support for transaction gas fees, 3. Testing environment (helps developer to debug and deploy on mainnet), 4. Less time needed for project development on Bitkub Chain. In total, the SDK fee will cost around 300 KDEV per year.
