Aviation software application developer Aviatize chooses Malta as its operational headquarters

Aviatize, developer of smart and innovative digital applications for the aeronautics industry, has just announced its intention to establish its operational headquarters in Malta to support its international growth.

Aviatize, with cloud software platforms that provide an all-in-one management solution for operators, flight schools, maintenance providers and aircraft owners, has already been active in Malta since 2020. With IDRONECT , one of its products for the unmanned aircraft sector, the Malta Civil Aviation Authority (TMCAD) manages approvals and certificates for all drone flights on the islands.

Tom Verbruggen, CEO of Aviatize, said: “The decision to move our operations to Malta makes sense and feels very natural. Malta is the fastest growing aviation jurisdiction in the world with a close-knit community. I always found a positive attitude whenever I came to the island. Additionally, in Malta we find a talented IT and aviation workforce that we need to support our growth and continued drive for innovation. Jobs will be created in the process of creating and growing the business. We are growing rapidly in the flight school segment, from basic training centers to airline training departments. This is where we will double in the next few months. I am very excited about this next step in Aviatize’s journey.

Captain Charles Pace, Managing Director of TMCAD, welcomes this decision: “I am very happy that Aviatize is moving to Malta. IT solutions are widely used in the aviation sector and are a way to improve efficiency in all organizations. CAD has worked with Aviatize in the past and we look forward to continued operations and dialogue. »
